Some museums from territories currently occupied by Russia could be evacuated to safer parts of Ukraine. Museum employees often can’t take much with them and find it difficult to secure their own living and keep museum artifacts in an acceptable state. OBMIN organized support for four Ukrainian museums from Popasna, Luhansk, Lysychansk and Rubizne: urgently needed materials like clothes, heating devices, laptops, power banks or printers. The project was made possible by generous support by the Gerda Henkel Foundation in Düsseldorf, Germany and the Commissioner of the German Government for Culture and Media (BKM).
