MUSEUMS OF TOMORROW SERIES
The "Museums of Tomorrow" workshop series, organized by the OBMIN Foundation in collaboration with the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation and the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine, offered cultural professionals in Ukraine a platform to explore innovative approaches and address contemporary challenges in museum management.

The series covered diverse topics, including the “Exhibition as a Critical Tool” workshop led by Sebastian Cichocki, Senior Curator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.

Barbara Gołębiowska, a director of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Museum in Warsaw, led two workshops: “The Voice of Heritage: Interpretation as Bridge-Building” and “History Live: Contemporary Education in Museums.” These sessions focused on heritage interpretation as a method to foster deep connections between visitors and heritage, and how modern didactic methods can spark interest in history, critical thinking, and creativity within museums.

“Opening Doors - Museum Audience Development” was presented by Aleksandra Głowacz, focusing on strategies for building lasting relationships with diverse museum audiences, including audience research. The “Museotherapy: The Art of Healing” workshop, led by Izabela Karlińska and Nina Dziedzic, introduced a specialized approach from the National Museum in Kielce that utilizes art to support individuals with various needs, from neurodegenerative diseases to cancer recovery.

As a partner of the exhibition "In the Eye of the Cyclone. Modernism in Ukraine," the Museum of Art in Łódź organized a special online presentation led by curator Jakub Gawkowski, focused on the exhibition's curatorial process and its overall significance.
