The OBMIN Foundation, together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine with Vice Minister Anastasia Bondar organizes a series of online workshops for over a hundred museums in Ukraine.

From the beginning of April, till the end of May museums are working on their contribution to the reconstruction on local and regional level.

These proposals will be finalized in a conference to be held on May 28-29 in Berlin, organized by Obmin and partners like Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz, Ukrainian Institute Berlin, Ernst von Siemens Kulturstiftung, Polish Culture Institute in Berlin, European Network Remembrance and Solidarity and Bundesinstitut für Kultur und Geschichte des östlichen Europa (BKGE). The German, Polish, and Ukrainian governments will support this conference via Auswärtiges Amt, the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ukrainian Ministry for Culture.

The museums’ proposals will then be brought to the Ukraine Recovery Conference on June 11 -12 in Berlin. This will ensure that museums have a voice.
