MUSEUMS OF TOMORROW

A new series of workshops "Museums of Tomorrow" will focus on key aspects of museum management. The series provides a platform for cultural professionals to share knowledge, explore innovative approaches and address contemporary challenges.
Sessions will be held on topics such as audience development, museum education, interpretation of national heritage, project management in the museum, among others.
First online workshop: “Exhibition as a Critical Tool"
Date: March 18, 11:00 AM (Kyiv time)
Speaker: Sebastian Cichocki, Senior Curator at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
Sebastian Cichocki, a renowned curator and critic, will guide you through the world of exhibitions that become social and political manifestos. You will learn how art can influence the shaping of reality and the dissemination of important ideas. The lecture will include an analysis of historical and contemporary examples.
Sebastian Cichocki is known for his exhibition "Flag. Engagement, Realism and Political Art" and for curating prestigious international events such as the Irish Biennial of Contemporary Art and Polish pavilions at the Venice Biennale, Gwangju (South Korea) and Chiang Rai (Thailand). He is also the author of numerous publications on contemporary art and the co-founder of the Solidarity House of Culture "Słonecznik".
