OBMIN AT COMMON FUTURE
OBMIN as a Sector Partner at this year's Common Future conference in Poznań

About the event:

On the reconstruction of Ukraine in Poznań

In cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Technology, the COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress will take place again in Poznañ on 7-8 October. Representatives of governments and key Polish, Ukrainian and international institutions responsible for the reconstruction and modernisation of Ukraine in the coming years will meet with the business community at the Poznań International Fair. The second edition of the COMMON FUTURE Ukraine Reconstruction Congress will be held on 7-8 October at the MTP. The event is organised by the MTP Group in cooperation with the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and the Polish Association of Construction Employers. The congress is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine under the Prime Minister's Office, MP Paweł Kowal.
Among the participants will be entrepreneurs from Poland, Ukraine and other countries, representatives of governments, local authorities and national and international institutions supporting development. A year ago, the event attracted more than 1,200 participants who discussed the challenges facing Ukraine and its allies in the fight against the Russian aggressor in 40 debates and panel discussions. The forthcoming edition will also feature debates, inspiring speeches, access to experts and, above all, networking with Ukrainian business representatives. In particular, representatives of the following sectors are invited to participate: construction, industry, investment, energy, medical and humanitarian production, transport and logistics, ICT, cybersecurity and dual-use technologies.

Poland as a reconstruction hub The aim of the congress is to provide entrepreneurs, politicians, bankers and local government officials with a picture of the Ukrainian economy, state and society in the third year of the war and the needs of Ukraine's ongoing reconstruction and modernisation plans. Poland, which has become a hub for humanitarian and military aid to Ukraine in the reconstruction process, is already playing a crucial role, determined by: geographical proximity; the level of trade turnover, which makes Poland Ukraine's first trading partner in the free world; knowledge of the realities of Ukraine, where more than 600 Polish companies are active; the growing entrepreneurship of Ukrainians in Poland; the capacity of Polish production, construction and transport companies; more than 460 partnerships of regions, cities and municipalities from both countries - this is the capital that makes Poland a hub for Ukraine's reconstruction and an essential participant in this process.
