IGOR STRAVINSKY MUSEUM IN VOLYN
Igor Stravinsky was born into a talented family of renowned musicians: his father Fedir was an opera singer, and his mother Hanna was a pianist. Every year, Igor visited his relatives in Ustylug, where he spent pleasant times. In letters to his mother, he mentioned Katerina, who became his wife. Igor and Katerina got married abroad and raised four children. In Ustylug, Igor built his own house, named "Stara Myza", which is an architectural landmark with a red roof, large fireplaces, and a balcony overlooking the river. On September 29, 2013, the restored museum-manor of the composer was opened, and the park was reconstructed. Currently, there operates the School of Music and Arts, where children from the entire community receive education.
