KHARKIV HISTORICAL MUSEUM NAMED AFTER M.F. SUMTSOV
The M.F. Sumtsov Kharkiv Historical Museum is the largest and oldest museum that serves as a cultural center for the region. Established in 1920, it houses a unique collection of 350,000 artifacts. It is one of the first museums in the country. It actively engaged the youth and evolved by leveraging technological innovations. Before the Russian invasion, the museum was visited by over 200,000 people annually. With the onset of the invasion, the museum transformed into a place for preserving cultural treasures.
