The leading historical museum of Ukraine, which is one of the most significant museums in the country in terms of the number and value of its collections. Its stock collections include about 800,000 exhibits, including archaeological and numismatic collections of world importance, ethnographic collections, collections of weapons, monuments of decorative and applied art, manuscripts, old prints, works of painting and graphics, relics of the Ukrainian national liberation movement of the 20th century, reflecting the history of Ukraine from ancient times to the present.
