The National Architectural and Historical Reserve "Ancient Chernihiv" is one of the main tourist attractions in Chernihiv Oblast and Ukraine. It comprises 26 architectural monuments of national significance, 3 structures and monuments dedicated to Hetman Ivan Mazepa and the Blessed Prince Igor of Chernihiv and Kyiv. Among these, six monuments date back to the pre-Mongol period and are considered some of the oldest in Eastern Europe.
