The museum is the only one of its kind in Ukraine. The museum is the pearl of Mykolaiv city. It reflects shipbuilding in the Mykolaiv region from ancient times to the present. A peculiarity of the museum is a large number of models of ships and boats. The exposition of the museum is constantly updated. We are re-exposing the halls where we reflect the process of Ukrainianisation of the fleet and different periods. We are working on replenishment with new exhibits related to the Russian-Ukrainian war. We have many exhibitions planned and a large number of events, museum lessons and master classes aimed at deepening the study of our history and patriotic education. We are finalising our application for participation in the UCF grant programme..
